How to buy online
This parts web site has been carefully constructed to allow the easy sourcing of TVR parts for purchase of the web. Racing Green TVR have attempted to make the site easy to use and search for parts either by description or by part number and once particular parts are identified related parts are clearly listed in the detail section to allow associated parts to be easily located. Racing Green TVR have tried to give a realistic description and photograph for each part to allow easy identification and confirmation that it is in fact the part you are searching for.
Browsing the shop
Along the left hand side of the page are links to the various models of TVR which Racing Green TVR have parts for. Upon clicking a particular TVR model, this will then expand to list all available subcategories of parts. Subcategories will only be made visible if they contain parts for sale. Click a subcategory to view all the parts available prior to purchase.
Choosing an item
Once you have found a part you wish to purchase, check the details and providing you are still happy to purchase the part click 'Add to Basket' button. The item will then be added to your shopping basket. Once you add a part, you will be taken to the shopping basket page. From here you can either proceed to pay at the checkout or continue shopping. If you continue shopping you can see how many items you have in your basket by looking at the basket information box under the navigation. Parts and quantities can all be edited on the shopping basket page.
Searching for an item
If you cannot find a particular part there is search function on both the parts description and the TVR part number. This is a comprehensive search function so typing “oil” into the description search will result in anything with oil in the description being displayed. So Oil Pump and Spoiler would be found if they were available in the parts for that particular TVR model.
If you know the TVR part number of the part you are searching for then a search for that particular part number would be sensible. If however you only know the first few elements of the part number then trying these in the part number search will list any parts with these elements starting their part number. If you know the TVR category code i.e. A-Z for the relevant part then this letter in the part number search will list all such parts for the selected TVR model.

Buying an item
When you are ready to buy your part(s), go to your shopping basket by clicking the 'View' link in the basket information box under the navigation. Check all the details are correct and choose the quantity you would like. Then click on the 'Checkout' button to proceed with ordering. You will now need to enter your contact information, billing address and delivery address before supplying your payment information on a secure server. Once the order has been received, you will get e-mail confirmation.
We accept most major credit and debit cards. If you are outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your local currency.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information by phone, fax, snail mail or via our secure web site checkout.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Amending an order
While you cannot amend an order that has already been paid for/dispatched, if you have any queries regarding an order, you can e-mail us.
Shipping And Handling
Because of the wide variety of products, we are unable to define carriage charges in advance. We will e-mail you the total invoice value, including carriage, when the items are packed and an accurate carriage charge can be applied. If you require a carriage cost estimate prior to placing your order, please contact us and we will provide details. The final cost is calculated when the goods are packed, so that we can charge an accurate amount. Charges are based on the actual weight or size of the shipment.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to keep most items in stock and ship within 3 days. UK deliveries would normally be sent by carrier or 1st class post. Orders shipped to outside the UK are sent by air mail or carrier.
Back Orders
If an item you order is not in stock, we will e-mail you to let you know. In most cases, the order will be sent when all the items are available. However, in some cases we reserve the right to cancel the out of stock item. This may apply if we know the missing item is not due in for some time. In other cases, we may choose to send the item when available. The back order item will only be charged to your card at the point of despatch.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. However, you may find import duty is payable on delivery. You should contact your local Customs office for details.
Credit Card Security
When your order is placed through our web site, your payment details are handled through a dedicated internet service provider Protx with absolute levels of security. Protx are a fully approved payment processor with all major UK banks and utilise the latest encryption and security standards when handling your card details. Racing Green TVR will not have access to your card details nor store them in any format.
