Speedo transducer to fit all TVR Speed 6 models apart from Cerbera. This is an ultra high performance replacement speed sensor that replaces the standard sensor on all later TVRs. This sensor is a very high specification, true zero speed sensor rated to 150° C and corrosion resistant to 500 hours salt spray test. It should be fitted in exactly the same way as the original sensor except that the standard differential Sensor wiring colours:- Red wire on the sensor is the supply/ignition voltage and should be connected to the Green wire on the vehicle, Black wire on the sensor is the earth/ground voltage and should be connected to the Black wire on the vehicle and the Green wire on the sensor is the digital output and should be connected to the Grey wire on the vehicle. This sensor can be used on many engine management situations where an open collector output is required from a sensor reading from a steel gear tooth. Racing Green TVR utilise this sensor for cam timing on the Syvecs engine management package where it reads off a single bolt head and feeds this timing information back to the ECU. This is the transducer with blue wiring and is the latest/best version currently available. Earlier versions should be upgraded to this product when problems arise. Note it does not come with the correct connector to fit directly but does come with instructions. The air gap should be set to 28 thou to give good readings with the notch in the thread set in the horizontal plane.It may, in some very rare circumstances, require the hole in the mounting bracket enlarging. It comes with a wiring diagram to explain the component and these should be connected as follows;12v ign to the green wire, earth to the black wire and sensor output to the grey wire(colours refer to the vehicle harness).
