High torque T5 gearbox for all later TVRs. This is a high torque version of the standard T5 gearbox as fitted to all the production TVRs from circa 1999-2000 onwards. This gearbox is externally identical to the standard T5 and is therefore a direct replacement for the standard box in applications where a high torque variant is required. This gearbox has identical ratios as the standard gearbox apart from it has an optional longer overdrive 5th gear for more economical cruising or greater top speed on higher horsepower engines such as Racing Green TVR FFF. Ratios as standard are:- 1 2.95 2 1.94 3 1.34 4 1.00 5 0.80 But 5th is available with a 0.63 ratio if required
