Standard TVR half-time sprocket to fit Speed 6 engines. This standard sprocket is the sprocket that effectively reduces the crankshaft speed by half to drive the camshafts. This sprocket weighs approximately 850 grams which is a significant weight when considering the loading on the half time bearings. If replacing the timing chains or renewing this sprocket then the lighter upgraded Racing Green TVR timing chain conversion should be considered. The timing chain upgrade removes approximately 1200 grams of weight from the timing chain assembly hence reducing loads on all the relevant components as well as reducing timing chain noise. This sprocket has 32 teeth on the larger sprocket and 20 on the smaller.
