Half-time sprocket uprated Simplex

Uprated halftime sprocket for all TVR Speed 6 engines. This sprocket is the Simplex chain version of the standard halftime sprocket which is available as part of the Simplex timing chain kit. This sprocket is the main element of the Simplex chain conversion for the TVR Speed 6 engine. Based on the original TVR design it has been extensively modified to take 2 needle roller bearing races instead of the weaker ball bearing races in the original sprocket. This sprocket has also been lightened by a very significant amount and the combination of the far greater load carrying capacity of the needle roller bearings and the reduced mass of the simplex timing chains means this assembly is some 10 times stronger than the standard TVR halftime bearing setup. This sprocket is only available as part of the Simplex timng chain kit as it will not fit the standard halftime shaft. There is a weight saving of approximately 1.3 kg when fitting the Racing Green TVR Simplex timing chain kit which allows the engine to pick up significantly better during acceleration. The kit also includes the ultimate upgrade for the halftime sprocket with a pressure fed needle roller bearing assembly exclusive to Racing Green TVR.
