Standard exhaust valve for the TVR Speed 6 engine. This is the standard exhaust valve as fitted by TVR. If exhaust valves are being replaced in a TVR Speed 6 engine then the upgraded replacement valve TVR E6051 RG from Racing Green TVR should be considered as it is of significantly higher specification and is the only exhaust valve for the TVR Speed 6 engine that has a Stellite seat and hence can stand up to the harsh environment of the unleaded performance cylinder head. The failure of the standard valve is one of the weak points in the TVR Speed 6 engine as the valve can errode substantially in the exhaust gas flow. If you have continuously reducing valve clearances on specific exhaust valves in a TVR Speed 6 engine the the valve head is almost certainly erroding and the valve will eventually require replacement.
