Part No TVR E6047 RG DLC

This is the ULTIMATE finger follower. This modified and uprated follower is a replacement for the standard TVR part. This investment cast finger follower is precision ground and micro finished to provide the ideal bearing surface for the camshaft to act on. The follower has a hardness of ~62 Rockwell and as such is perfectly suited to the Racing Green chilled iron camshafts. To further enhance the capabilities of this component its surface has undergone further finishing treatments and the whole component is DLC coated. Diamond Like Coating or DLC has a comparable Rockwell hardness of 3000 and reduces the friction dramatically and provides a perfectly smooth, tough and very hard wearing suface for the camshaft to bear on. This finger follower is some 6 grams or 15% lighter than the original reducing loads on the camshafts and timing chains etc. Please note that finger followers and camshafts should be changed together and under no circumstances should new finger followers be used with a worn camshaft.
